What kind of slides do SlideFly's hold?
SlideFly will accept all types of slides, including Glass, metal, & porcelain.
What is the SlideFly made of?
The SlideFly is made of polycarbonate.
This material is virtually indestructible.
Do I need special tools to mount my SlideFly?
No.
No tools are required to mount your SlideFly.
The SlideFly uses industrial strength hook material (FlyStrips) to attach your SlideFly to the
surface you desire.
Your SlideFly comes with two "FlyStrips" so you can put your SlideFly in multiple locations.
Can I adjust my SlideFly?
Yes.
You can make slight adjustments to the diameter (slide retaining tension) of your SlideFly.
This can be accomplished by opening/closing the "wings" of the SlideFly.
The length dimension shown is the maximum length, therefore, you can place slides with smaller
lengths in the SlideFly as the SlideFly can supply enough tension to hold your slide in place.
Where can I mount my SlideFly?
Anywhere.
You can place the FlyStrips (Velcro) where ever you feel is comfortable.
Location is simply limited to your imagination.
Location examples are Instrument body, headstock, strap, amplifier, music stand, belt, etc.
Most player's place their SlideFly on their instrument strap for convenience.
How are FlyStrips adhered?
The FlyStrips use industrial strength adhesive to provide maximum holding power.
Use your own judgment before placing on any instrument or finish.
What is the color of a SlideFly?
The SlideFly is made from clear Polycarbonate while it's belly is black.
